We represented an individual who was falsely charged with a first-degree sexual assault. A conviction would carry two life-altering sanctions — a lengthy prison term and registration as a sex offender. After careful consultation with the client, we rejected the prosecution’s unwarranted plea demands and tried the case. At the conclusion of the prosecution’s case, the court granted our motion to dismiss the charge in its entirety.
